When and why was your group formed?
ETV Youth Choir has grown out of the toddler group that started at the Children's Music Studio by Estonian TV in 1993. Since 2004 the choir was known as the ETV Children's Choir conducted by Lii Leitmaa. In 2006 the choir was renamed and became the ETV Youth Choir conducted by Külli Kiivet.

2005 - GOLD A diplomas in categories of youth choirs and folk music and Grand Prix at International Choral Festival "A Voyage of Songs" in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); the conductor of the choir Ms. Lii Leitmaa is nominates teh best conductor at the festival 2007 - 1st Prize and Gold medal at the 13th International Choral Festival of Preveza; Ms. Külli Kiivet is nominated the best conductor at the festival 2009 - Montreux Choral Festival

Give us a short biography of your conductor/leader
Our conductor Külli Kiivet (1979) studied musical education at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and classical singing at Georg Otsa Music School in Estonia. She has conducted in several important concerts and recording sessions and also children's choirs in lodal Song Festival. In 2007 she was awarded as the best conductor of the competition in 25. International Choral Festival of Preveza in Greek. She currently works as conductor and choir master in Children's Screen Music Studio at Estonian Television and as music teacher in Music School and Music High School in Tallinn. As a singer she has participated in several operas, musicals and major vocal-symphonic works in Estonia and abroad.
